Job Objectives and Responsibilities
* Support the Safer Custody, Violence Reduction, Care and Support Unit (CASU), Equalities, Diversity, and Inclusivity Functions.
* Administer operations, collate information and data, and produce reports as required.
* Analyze performance information, make recommendations where non‑compliance or opportunities are identified, track actions to completion, and support the development of action plans.
* Analyze data and management information, ensure timely provision, develop data reports, and support the production of performance reports; administer version control systems for accurate and timely dissemination of information.
* Identify trends, investigate root causes, support management in addressing trends, and contribute to innovation and continuous improvement while ensuring staff meet contractual requirements and deliver best practices.
* Provide support and advice to staff and managers to ensure compliance with legislation, assist stakeholders, respond to questions and action points from the Independent Monitoring Board (IMB), His Majesty's Inspector of Prisons (HMIP), and the MOJ Contract Monitoring Team, and build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Person Specification
* Excellent attention to detail and clear communication, both verbally and in written English of a high standard.
* Intermediate to expert IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Advantageous experience working in a secure environment and in audit or performance analyst role, with experience in audit, compliance, and standards.
