Location: Enfield, North London Start date: January 2026 Contract: Full-time, long-term Pay: £95-£115 per day (DOE) We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs in a primary school in Enfield. This role is ideal for someone with a care, residential, healthcare or support worker background who wants to move into a school setting. The role: Full-time, long-term TA role in a specialist PMLD unit Supporting a small group of pupils with high physical, medical and sensory needs Helping with learning, communication, sensory activities and play Providing personal care (feeding, changing, toileting) Using hoists and equipment (full training provided) Working closely with teachers, therapists and medical staff We'd love to hear from you if you: Have experience in care, support work, residential settings, healthcare or SEN schools Are confident (or willing to be trained) with personal care and moving & handling Are calm, patient and resilient Can commit Monday-Friday, term-time from January 2026 Have the right to work in the UK and are happy to complete an enhanced DBS What's on offer: A stable, long-term role in a highly supportive specialist setting Full training on equipment and communication approaches Ongoing support from a specialist SEND consultant £95-£115 per day, depending on experience Safeguarding: All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
