Transport Supervisor - Milton Keynes/Bedfordshire - Wolseley Supply Chain

As a night shift Transport Supervisor based in the Milton Keynes/Bedfordshire Distribution Centre, you’ll be responsible for:
1. To support the Transport Manager in managing the transport operation on site.
2. Ensures any non-compliance is reported to the Transport Manager.
3. Ensure the safe delivery of products and the administration of paperwork to a high-quality standard.
4. Carry out Driver debriefs on a daily basis.
5. Deals with day-to-day Driver issues (, uniform, daily driver checks, vehicle cleanliness, etc).
6. Liaise with drivers, maintenance and breakdown recovery companies in relation to vehicle breakdowns.
7. To ensure vehicle checks are carried out on a daily basis.
8. Working in a safe manner - in line with H&S policy and procedures.
You will be working 45 hours a week, Sunday to Thursday starting anytime from 23:00 to 08:00am and it will be a 9 hour shift.
