Project Manager
Edinburgh, with travel across Scotland
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management (FM) business unit.
As a Project Manager you will successfully deliver projects on time, within budget and to client specification. The project will vary in size and complexity. You will be required to travel within Scotland as per business requirements to deliver projects in various locations.
What you will be doing:
* Lead and deliver construction and redevelopment projects end-to-end
* Manage project budgets to ensure delivery within agreed costs
* Maintain a strong health & safety culture, ensuring full CDM compliance
* Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to achieve safe, buildable designs
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee all project phases and site setup
* Select, onboard, and manage contractors and supply chain partners
* Control risks, opportunities, and commercial performance with the Commercial Team
* Ensure all regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements are met
* Monitor subcontractor performance to drive quality and "right first time" delivery
* Lead teams and ensure projects meet programme, quality, and reporting requirements
About you:
* Proven track record of delivering construction or redevelopment projects
* Strong project and financial management skills
* Experience managing multiple subcontractors and supply chains
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong knowledge of CDM 2015, JCT and NEC contracts
* Ability to build high-performing teams and drive a performance culture
