Job Title: Training Standards Coordinator (Defence) Location: Clyde, Faslane Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 (Depending on skills, qualifications and experience) Type: Full time, Permanent Duties: Our client is looking to appoint a Training Standards Controller, who will have the overall responsibility of overseeing training quality; internal validation, and compliance in line with defence and industry standards. Carry out internal evaluations to measure training success, highlight any gaps, and confirm the accuracy and consistency of assessment materials. Undertake the role of Defence Training Supervisor, and guide the qualification, coaching and development of all training staff. Collaborate with the Training Design Lead, to perform regular reviews of course materials in-line with the Astute Class Training Service contract. Lead internal audits to ensure training adheres to the ACTS Quality Management System and industry standards (e.g. BR8420, JSP822, ISO 9001) and continuously monitor and manage improvement action plans. Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, to support ongoing training improvements.Essential Criteria: Must have experience of working within a similar Military training management, or technical training delivery role. A sound understanding of training quality systems and assurance frameworks. Must hold a familiarity with DSAT, or similar. Experience within internal validation and audits.
