What Your Typical Day Looks Like
* Autonomous practice utilising advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients, ensuring comprehensive clinical care
* Excellent communication with patients and caregivers; make confident decisions and convey them clearly
* Recognise and initiate appropriate advice from relevant specialisms
* Maintain clinical records in line with current practice guidelines
* Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Discharge or refer patients as appropriate to internal or external clinical pathways
To Be a Successful Advanced Practitioner You’ll Need
* Be a registered Adult Nurse with the NMC, a Paramedic with HCPC, or a pharmacist with GPhC, registered as an independent non-medical prescriber
* Minimum of 2 modules at Level 7, including Minor Illness & Minor Injury
* Ability to conduct a concise clinical history and physical examination
* Ability to formulate a differential diagnosis and management plan
* Effective communication skills in clinical settings, with strong verbal and written abilities and proficiency in computer use
* Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills
* Awareness of contemporary frameworks and advancements in out-of-hours care, plus specialised clinical/technical skills in health and social care
* Motivation, positivity, resilience, and a commitment to outstanding patient care
* Right to work in the UK
