An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Advocacy post to join the ever-growing advocacy team at Family Welfare, a reputable charity serving the Wigan & Leigh area for over 60 years. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference by ensuring that vulnerable individuals have their voices heard and respected.

· Comprehensive training in Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), and Children and Young Persons' Advocacy (CYPA). Full certification following relevant training
· One to one paid training at your own pace: External qualification through City and Guilds Independent Advocacy Qualification (IAQ) and completion certificate.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* A degree in a relevant subject.
* Compassion, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
* A full driving licence and own transport.
Commitment: This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) is for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
