St Annes RC Voluntary Academy is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join their dedicated team, delivering high-quality teaching to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for excellent professional development within a supportive department, as well as for experienced teachers seeking a rewarding new challenge.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver stimulating and well-structured Design Technology lessons in line with the school curriculum.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
* Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best and develop a love for Design Technology.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental initiatives.
* Support students’ preparation for external assessments and examinations.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience or training in Design Technology.
* Ability to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Please specify your specialism(s) in your application; a second specialism in Textiles or Food Technology is highly desirable.
