Supporting the introduction and optimisation of advanced manufacturing processes, the Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in bringing new machining capability into production and ensuring safe, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing operations.
This role covers a broad range of activities including CNC process development, equipment commissioning, New Product Introduction, process validation, and continuous improvement. Working within a high-performance manufacturing environment, you will support the industrialisation of new equipment and products while driving improvements in quality, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Supporting the commissioning and industrialisation of new CNC machining and waterjet cutting equipment.
2. Developing and implementing robust manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
3. Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flows.
4. Leading Process FMEAs and risk assessments to ensure safe and capable manufacturing processes.
