The post holder will play a key administrative role in supporting young learners on the Skills for Life and Work (SfLW25) programme. They will manage finance-related records, track attendance, process payments, and maintain qualification records in line with internal and external requirements. Using tools like Excel and Microsoft Teams, they will ensure accurate data management and support the timely submission of monthly claims, acting as a key point of contact for learners and ensuring compliance with funder and organisational protocols. ThesuccessfulcandidatewillreportintotheFinanceData& Management Information Lead. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Project Finance Officer will include: Finance & Record Management MaintainaccuratefinancerecordsforallSfLW25 participants. Trackandprocesslearnerpayments,includingtraining allowances, travel, and bonus payments. UseExcel,Teams,andinternalsystemstomanagefinancial data. Support monthly financial claims in line with DA and funder requirements. Learner Support & Administration Actasthefirstpointofcontactforlearnersregarding attendance and payments. Recordandmonitordaily/weeklyattendance,leave,and absence data. Ensure learners receive timely financial support to sustain engagement. Qualifications & Compliance Maintainup-to-daterecordsoflearnerqualificationsand outcomes. EnsurecompliancewithDA,OCNNI,City&Guilds,and funder protocols. Input data accurately into TAMS and internal databases in real-time. Audit & Quality Assurance Supportinternalandexternalauditswithaccurate documentation. Workcloselywiththefinanceanddeliveryteamsonquality improvement. Participate in regular self-evaluation and compliance reviews. General Duties Followagreedcorporatequalitystandardsandbest practices. Carry out other duties as required in line with the role. Essential Criteria At least two years in a finance related or similar role, with experienceofcreatingandmaintainingaccurateinformation and data for the generation of claims and invoices for payments. Knowledge and professional experience of using various IT packages and software to record, review and report on diverse information and data, inparticularstrongskillsin respect of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Teams etc. The ability to demonstrate excellent written & oral communication skills including the ability to work with disabledpeopleandothers,whilstexhibitingsensitivity, empathy, compassion and understanding.
