About the Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak. A position has arisen within the Assembly Department for an Electrical Assembler Adjuster.
Job Description
* Electrical Assembly and Adjustment of Mazak Machine Tools (Lathes and Machining Centres).
* Technical support production departments on electrical systems.
* Provide technical support quickly to resolve machine breakdowns and line stoppages.
* Electrically test and validate new machine options including functional checking.
* Prepare modification requests for design changes (Electrical circuit and loom harness).
* Validate electrical assembly process documents and check sheets.
* Identify risks and implement safety improvements.
* Technical support to the Service and QA departments.
* Be able to complete fault finding within a reasonable time frame.
* Achieve very high quality standard.
* Able to complete all machines at 1.3 productivity.
* Able to complete all standard options on all machines within the standard times.
* Has the ability and willingness to train others.
Essential Criteria
* Self‑motivation, good time management and flexible.
* Good communication, presentation skills and team player.
* Good understanding of electrical engineering core principles.
* Methodical and systematic with good problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (Mechanical and Electrical).
* Basic ability to read and interpret mechanical Pneumatic, Hydraulic circuits.
* Risk assessment experience and appreciation of health and safety requirements.
* Defining and documenting assembly procedures.
* Working well with people of all abilities.
Desirable Criteria
* Level 3 Apprenticeship in an electrical related subject or Qualified Electrical Engineer with a recognised electrical qualification (18th Edition).
* Industrial Electrical Experience.
* IT literate in all Microsoft Office packages.

Hours
Rotational shift pattern.
* AM Shift: 05:30 am – 01:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
* PM Shift: 02:00 pm – 10:30 pm, Monday to Thursday.
* Friday PM Shift: 02:00 pm – 08:00 pm.
