Manager, Business Operations - Rotor Blades Repair Center (Job Number: 333135)
Business Management
Fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the Nominated Person for Part 145 as required by EASA and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Site lead for the Business Operations Team.
Provide leadership, direction, and management to the team with a focus on safety, people, quality, service delivery, and cost management.
Manage and develop key relationships with customers and partners.
Lead, organize, measure, and drive the performance of the operations team to support company goals.
Design, develop, and implement management processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and business requirements.
Proactively monitor operational KPIs and take appropriate actions to maintain performance standards.
Coordinate support services such as IT and Finance to optimize site operations.
Oversee facilities management.
Ensure employees have the necessary mandatory training.
Maintain compliance with company SMS and occurrence reporting responsibilities.
Hold Form 4 for UK CAA Part 145 Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO).
Ensure components are maintained according to Part 145 and CAMO requirements.
Administer technical training and authorization processes.
Operational
Maintain processes aligned with company policies and regulations.
Implement Lean practices.
Liaise with Technical Services regarding Part 145 activities.
Ensure engineering facilities and offices meet Part 145 standards.
Provide compliant storage for parts, tools, and materials.
Align maintenance organizational structure and compensation with company policies.
Financial
Control costs within the approved budget.
Support development of external customers and revenue.
Engage stakeholders in major decisions.
Contribute to financial audits.
Deliver P&L performance through leadership.
Monitor and develop the annual budget.
Quality
Implement corrective actions following audits and incidents.
Participate in investigations as needed.
Coordinate with Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager regarding airworthiness.
Align Maintenance Expositions with Aviation Authorities.
Evaluate and support suppliers per company policy.
Safety
Promote a safe working environment.
Champion safety initiatives.
Ensure safety practices are followed.
Qualifications (Essential)
Meet UK CAA / EASA Part 145 requirements.
Human Factors, Auditing, SMS experience.
Competencies

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and well-organized.
Experience
Aircraft/helicopter engineering or maintenance experience.
Management experience.
Planning and project management skills are desirable.
Understanding of regulatory frameworks.
At least 5 years relevant experience, with 2+ in the aeronautical industry.
IT literacy.
