The Development Liaison Team brings together the Council’s highway advice, highway adoption and highway agreement services supported by our partners in Kier Highways, this small but dedicated team needs you to meet the challenges ahead.As our Senior Highway Adoption and Agreements Engineer you will provide the vital highway engineering knowledge and experience the Council needs to ensure new roads and streets as well as highway improvements are fit for purpose and comply with our exacting standards. About youAre you our new Senior Highway Adoption and Agreements Engineer ready to lead our highway adoption and agreement services so vital to make sure new developments are served by the infrastructure necessary and which is compliant with appropriate standards? You will be a suitably experienced and qualified engineer familiar with local government and development processes, the planning system as well as the highway adoption mechanisms. Your experience in highway design and managing a team with multiple schemes, balancing priorities and resources both internal and external will help us to deliver the services necessary to facilitate development.
