An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward‑thinking organisation that provides expert Health and Safety support to a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to promoting safe working environments and high compliance standards across multiple sectors.
The Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
* Managing a portfolio of client accounts, delivering ongoing support and professional Health and Safety advice.
* Conducting risk assessments, audits, and site inspections across client locations.
* Developing and maintaining Health and Safety documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
* Delivering engaging Health and Safety training sessions and updates.
* Investigating incidents, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions.
* Supporting advice line queries and collaborating with colleagues as needed.
The Health and Safety Consultant will have:
* Previous experience working in a Health and Safety consultancy or advisory role.
* Strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation, ISO standards (45001, 9001, 14001), CDM Regulations, and SSIP accreditations.
* NEBOSH General or Construction/ equivalent as a minimum.
* Ideally experience designing and delivering Health and Safety training.
* A CSCS card and access to a vehicle for client visits.
* Excellent communication skills, strong analytical ability, and the capacity to manage multiple projects independently.
