Warehouse Administrator
Location: Heywood
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Administrator to join our logistics team in Heywood. This role involves a blend of administrative duties, customer service, and returns processing, supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse throughout the year.
Working Hours
Standard Hours (Outside Peak):
1. Monday to Friday: 08:15 - 17:15
2. Arrival time on Day 1: 08:00
3. Breaks: 1 hour unpaid (either 15 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes lunch, or a full 1-hour lunch)
Peak Period (November - January):
4. Operation runs 7 days a week
5. Weekend work is mandatory
6. Weekday Shifts: 11:00 - 20:00
7. Weekend Shifts: 08:00 - 17:00
8. Staff working weekends receive 2 days off during the week
9. No holidays permitted in November or December due to business demand
Key Responsibilities
10. Administrative support including record keeping, data entry, and documentation for shipments and returns
11. Handling customer queries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency
12. Processing returned goods and updating inventory systems accordingly
13. Supporting order tracking and dispatch coordination
14. Assisting with stock checks and resolving discrepancies
15. Generating internal reports and maintaining warehouse management systems
16. General office duties such as filing, scanning, and assisting with audits
Requirements
17. Previous experience in warehouse administration or logistics (preferred)
18. Strong communication and customer service skills
19. Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse systems
20. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends during peak season
21. High attention to detail and organisational skills
22. Team-oriented with a positive attitude
