Role Overview:
Responsible for the servicing and repair of ASHP systems within residential and commercial properties. This role requires a reliable professional with detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems who can manage complex problems effectively, communicate proficiently, and adapt smoothly to changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety

Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate system efficiency and recommend improvements

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients

Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of their renewable energy systems

Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for system enhancements.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards

Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance

Skills & Experience
Valid domestic gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)

NICEIC Air Source Heat Pumps (essential)

NICEIC Water Regulations qualification (essential)

NICEIC Unvented Water Systems G3 qualification (essential)

NICEIC Energy Efficiency Qualification (essential)

Valid UK driving licence (essential)

Solar PV / Solar Thermal experience is desirable but not essential

Proven, practical experience as an ASHP Renewable Heating Engineer

Technical understanding of renewable systems and an understanding of technical aspects of energy and environmental efficiency

Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
