Your leadership will ensure we meet our Care Act 2014 duties and is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families across Nottinghamshire.
Head of Service, you will:
* understand our population and lead the strategic commissioning function to ensure we support the people of Nottinghamshire brilliantly.
* collaborate with people, care provider partners, NHS partners, the voluntary sector and district councils to ensure best value and continuous improvement.
* work across our integrated health and care system coordinating teams and resources to achieve sustainability and positive outcomes.
* drive co-production and ‘people-shaped decisions’ to enhance outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* In-depth knowledge of strategic commissioning principles and adult social care policy.
* Strong understanding of market shaping, innovation and collaboration.
