Overview
Peak Scientific is a global leader in developing innovative gas generation solutions for analytical laboratories in a wide variety of industries including life sciences, biomedical, pharma, petrochemical and environmental. We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Field Service Technician (Junior) to join our Service team in Brazil.
In this role, you’ll provide high-quality technical support to our customers, ensuring our products perform at their best and delivering an outstanding after-sales experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and travelling to customer sites.
What you’ll be doing
* Carry out installations, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs on customer equipment
* Deliver on-site training and technical support to customers
* Respond to customer queries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
* Ensure a “right first time” approach to service delivery
* Complete and submit accurate service reports after each visit
* Manage and maintain van stock and spare parts inventory
* Collaborate with internal teams including sales, logistics, engineering, and production
* Escalate customer issues where appropriate and support resolution
* Continuously build your knowledge of our product range and technologies
What we’re looking for
* Technical qualification in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics
* Experience working with pressure systems or gases is desirable
* Strong practical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach
* Knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, or mechanical systems would be a benefit
* Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
* Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (up to 90%)
* Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential
