Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children and Young People team to work within Neurodevelopment. Gloucestershire is transforming its Neurodiversity provision for Under 18s and we want you to come and join the team as a Specialty Doctor, working part time at either our Gloucester (Acorn House) or Cheltenham (Evergreen House) Locations. We are looking for an experienced post graduate doctor with time spent working in psychiatry. You will be a team player and good clinical skills, with experience in the assessment and management of Neurodevelopmental disorders. Main duties of the job In this role you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, offering specialist Autism assessments for complex young people. This role will offer highly specialist ADHD assessment for children and young people with a high level of complexity. As well as other clinical responsibilities the holder of this role is expected to link to teams across the southwest and nationally to learn from and support best practice. One of the main responsibilities is also providing supervision to other medics and non-medical prescribers.
