We are seeking a reliable and organised Administration & Accounts Coordinator to join our family-run business on a maternity cover basis in Paddock Wood. This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the company, combining general administration with accounts support including invoicing, credit control, and financial reporting. About Us The Lift Interior Company is a small, family-run business established in 2007 and based in Paddock Wood. We provide a bespoke and reliable service to the lift industry, covering all aspects of lift interiors—from concept and design through to procurement, fabrication, installation, and final handover. We have delivered high-quality finishes across a range of prestigious projects, including the Olympic Village, Sony Offices, The Old War Offices, Tottenham Hotspur Training Ground, The Shard, and Westfield Shopping Centre. Key Responsibilities • Provide general administrative support, including maintaining attendance and holiday records • Monitor business and fleet insurances and liaise with Health & Safety consultants • Support company accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records • Raise and issue weekly invoices using Sage accounting software • Manage customer accounts, including statements, payment allocation, and credit control • Assist with financial reporting and conduct monthly finance meetings with Directors Skills & Experience: • Previous experience in an administrative and/or account support role • Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting software preferred • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Good communication skills and a professional approach • Confidence working with financial data and processes Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm (excluding bank holidays) This is a fixed-term maternity cover position, expected to run from approximately 29th June 2026 to February 2027. An earlier start date is planned to allow for a comprehensive handover period. Exact dates to be discussed at offer stage. PLEASE NOTE: This is an in-person role based in our Paddock Wood office.
