Job Overview
We are looking for a GP to join our friendly, flexible, forward‑thinking family at Links Medical Practice, to help continue providing a high standard of care for our 8,100 patients. We’re looking for a GP to work 6 sessions per week. Wednesdays and Fridays need to be covered, with the third day to be confirmed and agreed with the successful applicant. The start date is flexible (we are willing to wait for the right candidate).
Links Medical Practice is located in the pleasant tree‑lined surroundings of the old City Hospital site, with ample parking, close to the beach and city centre amenities.
We have an excellent team, including six GP partners, two salaried GPs, an advanced nurse practitioner, pharmacists, and a very experienced practice nursing team. We are also an approved training practice which takes GP trainees, foundation doctors and medical students.
We pride ourselves in good communication within the whole practice team. We cultivate a kind, supportive, open environment and encourage regular social interaction.
Aberdeen is a vibrant, multicultural, cosmopolitan city with good local schools, two universities and the largest hospital campus on one site in Europe. There is easy access to many attractions in Grampian and the Highlands. Outdoor activities include walking, climbing, skiing, cycling, surfing, plus the castle and whisky trails.
