Join Our Growing Team as a Project Manager!
Are you ready to be at the forefront of managing change? The Household Run Change team is seeking a skilled Project Manager to guide our change initiatives supporting our strategic goals. As a key member of our expanding team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving impactful changes across all facets of Household, from Product, Pricing & Underwriting to Claims and Complaints.

In this exciting role, you'll take charge of projects from the initial planning stages to the final handover, collaborating closely with a diverse range of stakeholders both within and outside our organisation. You'll coordinate and delegate tasks, create comprehensive project plans, engage stakeholders, and manage timelines—all while adhering to Admirals’ governance standards.

Whether it's a small process tweak or a large IT overhaul, you'll ensure that the most valuable changes are implemented to enhance business operations and elevate the customer experience.

Main Duties:

1. Lead and drive all aspects of Project delivery from Mobilisation to Handover and Closure
2. Scoping, creating and managing project plans
3. Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
4. Managing dependencies
5. Tracking & managing risks and issues that will impact the project delivery
6. Working with all levels of stakeholders & delegating actions
7. Communicating project progress to senior stakeholders
8. Own and manage the project documentation
9. Take an active role in discussions about potential solutions and next steps
10. Conduct regular project team meetings with key internal and external stakeholders as appropriate to ensure that projects stay on track
11. Prepare monthly reporting both internally within Household and the wider business

Essential Criteria:

Experience

26. Proven experience managing end-to-end projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
27. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

Project Management Skills

28. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (, PRINCE, Agile, Waterfall).
29. Ability to manage scope, time, cost, quality, and risk effectively.

Communication & Leadership

30. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
31. Ability to lead and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and influence stakeholde

Planning & Organisation

32. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
33. Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation (, project plans, RAID logs, status reports).

Tools & Technology

34. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira
35. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Problem Solving

36. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.

Desirable Criteria:

Certifications

37. PRINCE, APM, PMP, AgilePM, or equivalent.

Sector Knowledge

38. Experience in financial services.

Change Management

39. Familiarity with change management principles and experience supporting business change initiatives.

Budget Management

40. Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement

41. Experience working with senior leadership and external partners or vendors.

Data & Reporting

42. Ability to use data to track project performance and inform decision-making.


Additional Information
We follow a hybrid work model, permitting candidates to work from our Cardiff office every Tuesday, or more frequently if they choose, while the rest of their tasks can be done from home.
If your application is successful, you'll be invited to participate in a screening interview with a member of our recruitment team, which will take place over a phone call. The subsequent step will be an interview with our hiring managers, conducted virtually.
