Responsibilities
* Train in all aspects of the Maintenance Department and follow standard operating policies.
* Maintain high levels of quality, safety and environmental awareness within the department.
* Provide full support to the Mechanical Supervisors and assist where required on plant.
* Complete Mechanical SAP reports detailing daily tasks performed.
* Ensure all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures are taken and that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
Qualifications
* SVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Reasonable standard of secondary education.
* Knowledge and understanding of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems.
* Health & Safety awareness.
* Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
* Experience in the operation of Fork Lift Trucks and Mobile Elevated Working Platforms. Licences preferred, however training can be provided.
