We're looking for a Head of Engineering to take ownership of the engineering function at a busy food manufacturing site in the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire area. This is a key leadership role for an experienced engineering professional who can blend strong technical expertise with clear, confident people management.
Responsibilities
* Leading a team of multi-disciplined engineers.
* Deliver the engineering strategy with a clear focus on prevention rather than firefighting.
* Own and improve Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across the site.
* Partner with Operations and New Product Development to support smooth product launches and line changes.
* Responsible for the site CAPEX plan, from scoping through to delivery.
* Manage engineering projects from concept through to handover.
Candidate criteria
* Strong background in engineering leadership within a food manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical grounding in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
* Proven track record of developing engineering teams.
* Right to work in UK.
