About the Role
Reporting directly to Professor Charalambos Antoniades, Director of AMIIC, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Centre and help drive its strategic development. You will work closely with clinical, research, technical and administrative teams to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a complex and dynamic facility.
Position
This is a full‑time appointment on an open‑ended contract based at the Acute Multidisciplinary Imaging and Interventional Centre (AMIIC), John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, OX3 9DU.
Key Responsibilities
As Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include managing budgets, forecasting, financial monitoring and income generation activities; coordinating research programmes, governance processes and committee activities; supporting recruitment, staff management and workforce planning; and managing communications and stakeholder engagement.
About you
The successful candidate must have proven experience coordinating complex projects and large‑scale activities, along with strong financial management and budget monitoring skills. Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, and experience managing staff and multidisciplinary teams are also essential. Experience working within a university, research or healthcare environment and knowledge of NHS and higher education administration would be advantageous.
