Job Title: Finance Business Partner - Brand and Commercial

Location: Any AG Barr Hub (Cumbernauld, Milton Keynes, Middlebrook, Camden)

Contract and working pattern: Permanent, 37.5 hours, Hybrid Working

What we're looking for...

As a Finance Business Partner for our Brand and Commercial divisions, you will provide excellent finance management and partnership to business leaders, marketing, and commercial teams to drive business performance in an FMCG environment. You will leverage your financial analysis, strategic planning skills, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value and grow our brands. You will own our brand & innovation planning and reporting for finance, along with marketing and commercial investments, driving continuous improvement through simplification, standardization, and automation.


Your responsibilities will include...


Business Partnering

* Partner with the Marketing Director, Commercial Managing Director, and their teams to execute strategic goals with a focus on performance.
* Represent finance on the brand hubs for IRN-BRU, Rubicon, and Boost, providing analysis and insights on brand performance.
* Support innovation and enterprise projects by producing, reviewing, and challenging financial evaluations to aid management decisions.
* Influence performance targets by providing value-added reporting, analysis, and insights.


Business Performance Management

* Collaborate on the 3-year BSD IBP process and financial planning for Commercial.
* Manage the business performance cycle for brand reporting and marketing performance against budgets and forecasts.
* Improve pricing governance to enhance profitability and product contribution.
* Deliver timely, accurate standard reporting to the Commercial team.


Governance

* Lead financial controls within Commercial.
* Support governance KPIs and improve processes for financial accuracy and control.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial activities and manage audits.


Leadership

* Coach and develop junior team members; manage up to 2 graduate or qualified accountants.


What you'll bring...

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Accountant with 3+ PQE, strong financial analysis skills.
* Experience in FMCG business partnering with sales teams.

* Financial accounting and reporting

* Risk management and internal control
* Tax planning and compliance
