We are now looking for a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to join our clients busy office.
The Role
As an integral part of the operations team, you will support the smooth running of the day-to-day freight activities. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and updating spreadsheets with order, transport, and delivery information
* Processing customer orders and preparing accurate documentation
* Creating and issuing invoices and assisting with basic accounts queries
* Supporting transport planning, including scheduling collections and deliveries
* Communicating with drivers, customers, and suppliers by phone and email
* Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, compliant, and filed correctly
* Providing general administrative support to the operations and accounts teams
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Confident working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
* Comfortable handling invoices, order data, and logistical paperwork
* Able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
* A strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
* Experienced in transport, logistics, or a similar admin role (preferred but not essential)
