Sales Manager
Location: Field-Based (UK)
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + Bonus
Type: Full-time, Permanent
My client, a global engineering and industrial technology business, is looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth across a designated UK territory. This role will focus on developing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering sales growth across a range of industrial products and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory
* Deliver product presentations and promote technical solutions to customers
* Manage the preparation of quotations, proposals, and commercial offers
* Negotiate contracts and orders while maintaining profitability targets
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting through CRM systems
* Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer support and project delivery
Requirements
* Proven experience in a technical sales or business development role
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Experience selling to the paper-making industry
* Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage key accounts
* Self-motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills
* Willingness to travel extensively within the UK
