FT Recruitment are seeking a professional and highly organised Administrator / Coordinator to join our clients team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations, supporting various administrative functions, and ensuring smooth communication across departments and office locations. In this role you will be purchasing various equipment for the business as well as negotiating costs and building relationships with suppliers. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Duties Manage and maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems Negotiate rates & costs with suppliers to limit costs and ensure best value for money for the business Ensure company equipment records are updated and kept compliant in line with legislation and company policies Purchasing and placing orders for equipment and other products as and when required Track and ensure employees data & records are kept up to date and compliant in regarding to training and employment details Monitor and update a tracking system with all data and personnel files, keeping this organised and updated consistently Qualifications & Experience required Proven office experience or administrative experience in a professional setting Experience with the purchasing/ buying for stock or equipment is desirable for this role Strong negotiation skills, the ability to build rapport and long lasting relationships with suppliers & clients Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to develop their administrative career within a supportive environment.
