Job Description
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and improving financial models as well as for the accurate and timely reporting and forecasting of costs related to the SPTS Division. The role will act as a key business partner, bridging finance and the wider business.
Responsibilities
* Support the SPTS division finance team in planning, forecasting and analysing Fixed Cost (headcount, T&E, Project Materials, Depreciation, Allocations, etc).
* Reconcile headcount actuals and forecasts, partnering closely with business managers and HR to manage leavers, terminations, transfers, and new hires, and ensure alignment across OneStream, Workday, and Anaplan.
* Assist in management of the divisional budget ensuring spending is on track by understanding the spending profile and being able to identify and explain key variances.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly forecast and monthly & quarterly close, including expense reconciliation, accruals, and analysis of actual results with comparison to forecast.
* Proactively identify risks and opportunities in operating expenses.
* Build and maintain standardised monthly and quarterly management reports.
* Partner with engineering team to drive cost optimisation of strategic projects.
* Input all forecast and planning work into OneStream financial reporting system and maintain data accuracy in both OneStream and offline working files.
* Ad‑hoc analysis – analyse data from different perspectives and angles to help support business decisions.
Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications
* The ideal candidate will have progressive experience managing operating expense in a high‑tech environment and business partnering to drive cost efficiency.
* Strong financial rigour with proven ability to validate data and apply analytical judgement.
* Proficient in financial reporting systems (SAP, OneStream, etc.) and possess strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Self‑driven, results‑oriented, fast learner and able to work independently.
* Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and able to support multiple requests in a time‑sensitive manner.
* Comfortable with reaching out to others and working with different levels and parts of an organization.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of ownership.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's level degree or equivalent and related work experience.
