A prestigious commercial property in Central London is seeking a highly capable General Manager to oversee all aspects of building operations and occupier experience. This trophy asset hosts a diverse mix of premium tenants and represents the highest standards in sustainability, design, and service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the building operates efficiently, safely, and in line with the expectations of both occupiers and investors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the building, ensuring exceptional service delivery across all functions
* Act as the primary liaison for tenants, fostering strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
* Oversee all facilities management services, including hard and soft FM, ensuring compliance and performance against KPIs
* Manage service charge budgets, financial reporting, and cost control in collaboration with asset and property management teams
* Drive ESG and sustainability initiatives in line with building and client objectives
* Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
* Manage third-party contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and value
* Identify and implement innovations to enhance occupier experience and operational efficiency
* Lead and develop on-site staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience managing a high-profile commercial office building, ideally in Central London or a comparable market
* Strong understanding of building operations, FM, service charge budgeting, and tenant engagement
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially astute with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
* Relevant qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, or IWFM are desirable
* Committed to delivering a premium occupier experience in a high-performance environment
