About the Role
Brightwork's client, a market‑leading organisation experiencing accelerated growth, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the payroll processes for a portfolio of clients across different sectors. You'll ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery while providing a high standard of service and support to your clients.
* Processing end‑to‑end payroll for multiple clients
* Ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation and client-specific requirements
* Handling queries and providing expert advice to clients and their employees
* Managing pension contributions, statutory payments, and RTI submissions
* Preparing reports and supporting payroll audits as needed
Qualifications
* Experience in a payroll role with exposure to multiple client or multi‑site payrolls
* Strong understanding of current UK payroll legislation
* Excellent attention to detail and time management
* Confident communicator with a client‑focused mindset
* Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
