This employee-owned practice has around 50 professionals across its two offices. With a focus on thoughtful, inclusive, and sustainable design, they’ve built a reputation for delivering innovative environments that enhance lives. As the practice continues to expand, they are now seeking a Senior Architect to work on its retirement living and leisure projects across the South, from concept through to completion.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Lead the design and management of education projects, collaborating with the wider design and technical team
2. Report directly to the Project Director ensuring design integrity and project quality across all stages
3. Manage and mentor a team of architects and designers, encouraging professional development
4. Build and maintain client relationships, coordinating with contractors and consultants for successful delivery
5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector
6. Oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
7. ARB registered Architect with 5+ years’ UK experience post Part III qualification
8. Proven experience leading projects from concept to completion
9. Strong knowledge of building regulations, and sector standards
10. Ability to lead teams of architects, technologists, and assistants effectively
11. Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients and stakeholders
12. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
