We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Lowestoft, Suffolk on a full-time permanent basis.

About The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will assist the Warehouse Manager in ensuring the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods are executed flawlessly. The role involves working 5 days a week, with shifts from 7:30 am to 5 pm.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring all operations meet targets.
* Conduct checks on incoming and outgoing items, reporting any damage or discrepancies.
* Utilise the forklift to move stock effectively, ensuring proper handling and safety standards.
* Manage stock through accurate booking, reporting damaged items, and conducting regular stock checks.
* Oversee the preparation of consignments for dispatch, ensuring all packages are secured for transport.
* Assist in building vehicles and parts for delivery, including local deliveries and collections as needed.
About You
You should be an experienced Warehouse Operative accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment. Essential skills include strong organisational skills, keen attention to detail, proficiency with IT systems, and a current forklift ticket with experience. Knowledge of Health and Safety practices in warehousing is vital. You should work well under pressure, be adaptable to changing priorities, and have a customer-focused mindset. An enthusiastic, flexible approach and strong interpersonal skills are also important for success in this role.
