Pay: £170 – £260 per day (PAYE)

Protocol Education are working with a high-performing secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a passionate and experienced Teacher of Psychology with Sociology.

The Role
You’ll teach A Level Psychology and Sociology, as well as GCSE Sociology, guiding students through complex concepts and helping them apply theory to real-world issues.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across KS4 and KS5
* Inspiring students to think critically and develop independent learning skills
* Preparing students for AQA or OCR exam board assessments
* Supporting academic progress through effective feedback and intervention
* Contributing to the wider school community through enrichment or pastoral support
You’ll play an important role in helping students build confidence, curiosity, and a deep understanding of human behaviour and society.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
* A qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS required)
* Experienced in teaching Psychology and Sociology at KS4 and KS5
* Confident using a range of teaching strategies to engage learners of all abilities
* Passionate about your subject and committed to inclusive education
* Organised, reflective, and collaborative in your approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
