Angles Maths Hub has a vacancy for Seconded Post for a Reception Assistant Maths Hub Lead. This is a part time role, 1 day a week, open to any teacher currently working in a Reception class with appropriate experience of working with pupils and teachers within Reception. You must have the backing of your line manager and Principal to apply for this role, because the secondment will remove you from your school for your Maths Hub time.
The role involves working with and liaising with Reception classes and primary schools in the Norfolk and Suffolk region to recruit and oversee the delivery of Reception Maths Hub CPD and to support Intensive Support in schools on the Targeted Support programme. The CPD includes both national and locally tailored CPD. National - SKTM Reception Year; local - design and create local CPD offers suitable for Reception and KS1 teachers in our region.
In addition to working alongside schools, you will support the team of Reception Work Group leads to design and deliver training and quality assure the sessions. You will work alongside other Reception Leads nationally supporting the effective delivery of the Government's Best Start in Life (BSiL) programme. This role offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to strengthening early mathematics provision and improving outcomes for young children across the Angles Maths Hub region.
The ideal candidate will have:
* An appropriate degree and other qualifications required for the award of QTS.
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Excellent subject knowledge and expertise
* Reception and Primary teaching experience
* Proven track record of achieving excellent outcomes
* Experienced at delivering high quality CPD
* Subject-specific current research and evidence-based practice in teaching
