Adolescense Safeguarding Social Worker
Are you passionate about safeguarding vulnerable adolescents and supporting them to thrive? We are looking for a dedicated Adolescence Safeguarding Social Worker to join our specialist team working with young people at risk across the Midlands.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with teenagers facing complex challenges such as exploitation, missing episodes, criminality, family breakdown, and mental health issues.
In this vital role, you will:
Build trusted relationships with adolescents to understand their lived experiences and needs.
Undertake Child and Family Assessments and develop safeguarding plans that reduce risk and promote resilience.
Work closely with multi-agency partners including youth justice, education, health, and police.
Use trauma-informed and relationship-based approaches to support young people and their families.
Contribute to strategy meetings, multi-agency planning, and court proceedings where necessary.
We're looking for an Adolescence Safeguarding Social Worker which:
Is a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Has experience working with adolescents in safeguarding or youth-focused settings.
Understands contextual safeguarding and the challenges affecting today's young people.
Is confident, compassionate, and committed to achieving positive outcomes.
