Management Accountant- 9 month fixed term contract
Location: Kirkham
Salary: circa £45,000 DOE
We have a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded organisation based in Preston. This role is ideal for a strong Management Accountant with broad experience within SME's. Initially the role is offered on a fixed term contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Management Accountant will help lead a small finance team, oversee daily operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:
* Produce and present accurate and timely monthly management accounts
* Support with the production of annual budgets
* Prepare accounts for year-end audit and statutory submissions
* Oversee billing, credit control, supplier payments and payroll
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory obligations
* Collaborating across departments to monitor budgets, control costs and forecast financial performance
