Role Description
This is for a permanent full-time position at New Dawn Risk Group, a Lloyd’s of London broker based in the City of London, responsible for servicing a worldwide portfolio of UK and international clients.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join an established Lloyd’s broker who is looking to be trained and develop a career as an Insurance Technician.
The role of an Insurance Technician forms part of the broking team. The candidate who fills this role will collaborate with our brokers in providing coordinated placement support and client servicing. Thus, this role will be predominately and primarily an office-based role.

Key activities and responsibilities include:
· Supporting the brokers in all aspects of account management
· Tracking risks
· Becoming an expert using Novidea and PPL broking systems
· Assisting with monetary transactions and keeping track of outstanding funds on behalf of the team
· Highly concise and technical data entry
· Producing correspondence
· Interacting with clients, brokers, and underwriters
· Preparation of slip and broking packs; quotes; cover note and debit notes
· Renewal management
· General administration of all ongoing accounts
· Ensuring client files are complete and compliant
· Other ongoing account management activities
