Graduate Apprentice Design Technician (Architecture), Glenrothes
This role involves working as part of a design team producing technical designs for various building projects from inception to completion, reporting to senior professionals in the field.
Responsibilities include:
* Completing a BSc in a relevant architectural course while working for Fife Council.
* Meeting annual competency requirements.
* Undertaking duties such as site surveying, inspections, 3D modelling, drawing preparation, and contract administration with supervision.
* Assisting with client development, statutory compliance, and contract management.
* Contributing to health and safety policies and other tasks as assigned.
Working Conditions:
The position offers a blended home/office working model, with initial full-time presence at the Glenrothes office for the first few months, subject to review.
Educational Details:
You will study for a BSc (Hons) in Construction & the Built Environment at Edinburgh Napier University, combining practical work with academic learning.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have:
* A HNC at Grade A or
* A HND at Grade B in a related discipline.
Recognition of prior learning and experience will also be considered. Proof of qualifications must be provided.
