JDR is recruiting for an Aluminium TIG welder to work for our client in a large manufacturing site in Bristol (BS30 area)This is an ongoing role offering consistent hours, and the opportunity to work with high-quality materials in a well-equipped workshop. The ideal candidate will be a confident Aluminium TIG welder with strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing precision welds.
The role:
As an Aluminium TIG welder you will be working within a manufacturing environment, and your duties will be as followed:
* Carry out high-quality TIG welding on aluminium components and structures
* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and fabrication plans
* Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, strength, and presentation
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
* Collaborate with other fabricators, engineers, and supervisors
* Operate workshop machinery and tools safely and efficiently
* Support production deadlines while maintaining excellent craftsmanship
About you:
As an Aluminium TIG welder you will have the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience working as an Aluminium TIG welder
* Strong TIG welding skills specifically with aluminium materials
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to an ongoing position
* Ability to maintain consistent quality even in high-pressure environments
