Location:Andover, Hampshire


Shift: Monday to Friday 08.00am-16.30pm

The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Enquiry/RFQ Sales Administrator to join our team. This pivotal role supports our account managers by managing incoming enquiries and requests for quotations (RFQs), ensuring smooth communication between customers, suppliers, and internal departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries and RFQs received via the company’s enquiries inbox.
* Accurately input RFQs into the MRP system, including the creation of new part records as needed.
* Organize and transfer all relevant files to designated folders to support accurate quoting by account managers.
* Forward completed RFQ’S to the appropriate account manager and send timely response emails to customers.
* Assist during peak periods processing sales orders in the MRP system and generating job sheets for the machine shop floor.
* Carry out Contract Reviews, ensuring orders are processed accurately.
* Perform general administrative tasks as required.
* Answer and direct incoming telephone calls; greet and assist visiting clients and suppliers.


Candidate Profile

* Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.
* Discreet and professional in handling sensitive information.
* A confident communicator, both written and verbal.
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive in problem-solving and continuous improvement.


Skills & Qualifications

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Previous MRP experience required
* Methodical and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
