Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing / Planned Maintenance * Location: West London based * Project Value: £9 million * Salary: Up to £70k package * Scope of works: SHDF - Roof replacements, EWI, IWI and window replacements Role We’re seeking an experienced and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join one of the top 5 UK's Leading Property Services companies to support the delivery of a £9M contract with London Borough of Ealing, as part of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the commercial and contractual elements of the project, ensuring value for money, cost control, and risk management throughout the lifecycle of the contract. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all commercial aspects of the £9M SHDF contract * Prepare, submit, and manage applications for payment and final accounts * Monitor project costs, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow * Negotiate and manage subcontracts and variations * Support with procurement strategy and value engineering * Work closely with operational teams to ensure commercial compliance * Provide regular reports to senior management and the client * Ensure compliance with SHDF funding requirements and reporting About You * Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally in social housing or retrofit projects * Strong understanding of NEC or JCT contracts * Experience working on SHDF, energy efficiency, or decarbonisation schemes is a plus * Excellent negotiation, financial, and communication skills * Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team * Relevant qualifications (e.g. BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar) What Is On Offer * Opportunity to work on a meaningful, sustainability-focused project * Competitive salary and benefits package * Professional development and career progression * Supportive and dynamic working environment
