Job Description
The Role:
As a key member of our Retail Solutions Centre you will be offering support to our retailers in their product sample approval and critical path to product launch.
Main duties:
1. To take ownership of the relevant areas of responsibility to meet our business needs, and to be totally committed to these.
2. Ensure Critical Path deadlines are maintained through supplier monitoring. Issue reminders to suppliers failing to maintain critical path deadlines.
3. Check artwork against product information and provide feedback to suppliers and retailers on approval or rejection comments.
4. Review and approve technical specifications and relevant documents.
5. Ensure products are legally compliant and fit for purpose.
6. Maintain product status on the critical path and keep detailed accurate records of all communications in an orderly fashion.
7. Build positive and effective relationships with buying teams and suppliers.
8. Attend retailer meetings as and when required either face to face or virtually using teams.
9. Any other reasonable task requested to support the business
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
10. Ideally degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline e.g. Cosmetics, chemistry and bio chemistry.
11. Proven experience and understanding of product sealing procedures.
12. Understanding of critical path management and working with retailers, brands, buying and sourcing offices, vendors, suppliers, and factories.
13. Understanding manufacturing processes and production experience in one or more of these areas Candles/Diffusers, cosmetics, detergents.
14. Demonstrates a self-motivated, resilient and above all positive approach to working with all stakeholders.
15. Team spirit is essential and must be a pro-active, organised and resilient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a “can-do” attitude.
16. Delivering quality in all our work is key, so accuracy, speed and attention to detail is essential whilst meeting given priorities/ deadlines.
17. Ability to travel to client sites across the country (pool car provided if located in Northampton)

This role is office based 37.5 hours per week. Core hours are 8.45 am to 5.00 pm. The company operates a flexitime system allowing you to vary your contractual start and finish times by 30 minutes, providing your daily contractual hours are worked each day.
