As part of the manufacturing organization, the Manufacturing Assistant is responsible for assembly, testing, and preparation of electronic assemblies on the production floor.
They will work alongside our established team, which is responsible for repairing, testing, and configuring electronic devices for delivery.
The qualified candidate will evaluate system specifications and ensure product quality by verifying conformance to relevant electronic standards and external test house standards before delivery.

As our Manufacturing Technician, you will support HID’s success by:
* Assembling electronic parts and systems into final products following established procedures.
* Conducting functional testing of products on the manufacturing line.
* Following procedures, assembling, testing, and fault finding.
* Taking corrective actions and reporting findings to ensure products meet electronic and external test standards.
* Liaising with manufacturing staff for shipping preparations.
* Repairing products that fail tests or do not meet IPC-A-610 standards.

Your Experience and Education include:
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read and follow assembly instructions from manuals.
* IPC-A-610 inspection experience (helpful, not essential).
* Soldering skills for component repair and replacement (helpful, not essential).
* Good hand-eye coordination for assembly work.
