Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Lytham St. Ives
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week, ideally 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday
Are you an organised, detail-driven professional with experience in accounts payable? Our client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the finance team, you'll be responsible for:
1. Logging, maintaining, reconciling, and filing invoices
2. Matching and coding invoices accurately
3. Processing payments and obtaining authorisations
4. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
5. Liaising professionally with suppliers
6. Maintaining accurate supplier records and setting up new accounts
7. Assisting with monthly reports and queries for company accountants
8. Supporting cash management and bank reconciliation
9. Generating company reports as required

11. Accurate with strong attention to detail
12. Experienced in purchase ledger or accounts payable
13. Experience in Sage 50 is essential
14. Knowledgeable in basic bookkeeping and allocation between Capital and Revenue items
