1. Work closely with academic departments and Employability, Skills and Careers teams to ensure student work placements are effectively coordinated, approved, and completed in line with Technical Level requirements
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and stakeholders to support high‑quality placement opportunities
3. Carry out pre‑placement health and safety checks and conduct on‑site visits to review student progress and liaise with employers
4. Monitor and track placement activity, maintaining accurate records and providing regular updates on placement approvals and progress
5. Act as a key point of contact for students and employers, providing timely support and resolving any issues that arise during placements
6. Support students and academic staff to ensure placements meet programme requirements and learning outcomes
7. Assist in the promotion and organisation of placement opportunities through events, digital platforms, and communications, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements
About You
8. Hold Level 3 qualifications or above, including an IT qualification
9. Possess a full UK driving licence
10. Have knowledge of the land-based sector, particularly Agriculture and Animal Management
11. Be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team
12. Demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with good organisational ability
13. Be able to prioritise workload efficiently and understand the importance of safeguarding in a college environment
