Please read on to discover more on an opportunity to join a highly renowned surgery as a Lead GP in County Durham
The role is a practice close by to Newton Aycliffe and is part of a group of surgeries run by a long standing and successful group based in the North East and Yorkshire.
They are seeking a forward thinking GP with experience to come in as a Lead GP and help drive the practice forward, they have up to 8 sessions available and some of this time would be non clinical. The practice also hosts trainees across a number of disciplines and ideally would be looking for someone with an interest in training and mentorship.
There is a strong and stable team currently in place including Salaried GP, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses other healthcare professionals as well as an excellent Practice Manager and admin team, resulting in a well organised and well run practice.
Key Duties
* Lead GP Role
* Practice based within a commutable distance of Darlington and Durham
* Practice list size of circa 6,000
* Strong existing clinical team including Salaried GP, Nurse Practitioners and Practice Nurses
* Excellent management and clerical support team
* Back office support from a larger group of practices
* Training practice
* Support for further development
* High QOF score
* Good overall CQC report with areas of Outstanding
* Regular practice meetings
Package and Benefits
* £11,500 to £12,500 per session per annum DOE

Key Skills and Qualifications
* Registered with the GMC
* Accepted Medical Degree
* Evidence of continued personal and professional development
* Possess the right to work in the UK

* Registered on the National Medical Performers list
* Must have previous GP experience
