Senior Staff Nurse - Ward 3B role at NHS Scotland

Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse Ward 3B
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 3B for x2 Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse full time positions.
Shift Pattern
Rotational, dayshift and night shift over 7 days.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the MDT team and assess care needs ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.
* In the absence of the ward manager, manage a ward area including supervision and deployment of staff and maintaining the flow of patients through the department.
* Frequently participate in ward coordination, assist in management of nurse staffing, bed management issues and incident reporting, and communicate changes to the hospital clinical coordinator.
* Assist the Ward Manager in managing sickness leave, annual leave, staff support, staff appraisals and compiling duty rotas.
Qualifications
* Registered with the Royal College of Nursing at degree level (or working towards this).
* Minimum of 3 years clinical experience within an acute paediatric setting.
* Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
