Mechanic based in Woking with some multi-site travel as and when required.Mechanic Benefits:Salary: 32k to 38k DOE plus quarterly performance bonus schemeMobile phoneLocation Woking but may be required to travel to sites in Harpenden, Dartford, St Albans, Bristol and High Wycombe.Access to a company vehicle for travelling to other sitesMonday to Friday - 6:30am - 14:00pm20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysMechanic Role Purpose:Reporting to the Workshop & Equipment Manager, we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional individual to join our clients expanding team, which is committed to consistently delivering service excellence. The role will include preventative maintenance, servicing and repair to an extensive fleet of golf course maintenance equipment. This role will require both on site and off site maintenance.Mechanic Key Duties:Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment, including, diesel, electric- and gasoline-powered automobiles, mowers, tractors, rollers and other mechanical equipment used in utility workCompletes regular servicing of all equipment and sharpening of mowing equipmentExecutes job cards for works completedComplies with all legislation and regulations including provisions contained in the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974Mechanic Role Specific Skills:Mechanical experienceElectro-hydraulic experience is an advantagePrevious experience in a mechanical roleHold a full driving licenceKnowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelDesirable skills but not essential:Be proficient using operating reel and bed knife grindersWelding/fabrication experienceKnowledge of electrical, electronic and hydraulic systemPractical experience in green keeping and/or working with golf course equipmentHolds a trailer licenceKeen attention to detail with the ability to produce a high standard of workMaintain detailed maintenance recordsMechanic Soft Skills & Competencies:Team player: Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiativeCommunication: Adept at communicating with colleagues and clientsPunctual & Reliable: Excellent timekeeping and reliabilityTPBN1_UKTJ
